We've seamlessly integrated these culinary powerhouses into many of our cookery classes, and are planning a range of Big Green Egg courses throughout 2024, ensuring you can harness their full potential. Whether you're a barbecue enthusiast, a grilling guru, or an aspiring pitmaster, these ingenious green giants have got you covered. Grill, roast, smoke, bake, and even slow-cook with unparalleled precision all year round.
Chalk Stream Foods
Chalk Stream Foods finest Hampshire Chalk Stream rainbow trout is some of the tastiest, richest and leanest in the UK as a result of their unique habitat. Based in Romsey they rear their trout from sustainable farms on the Rivers Test and Itchen. These world-famous spring-fed chalk streams with ‘gin clear’ and constantly flowing water provides the perfect environment for their trout to grow and give the fish a clean, sensational taste whether smoked or fresh.
Lyburn Cheese
Lyburn farm lies on the northern edge of the New Forest, straddling the small river Blackwater, and has been farmed by the Smales family and Mike and Judy in particular for the last 40 years. Lyburn farm makes a variety of different handmade cheeses, all of which are made from their own cow’s milk. Although they are pressed, these artisan cheeses are not that close to cheddar cheese. They are, in general, a softer and a more continental type of cheese, with the exception of Old Winchester.

Passionate to deliver foods that capture the true tastes and flavours of the Mediterranean, local company Olives Direct supplies our flavoured oils which are also available to purchase from The Kitchen. All products are freshly prepared by hand creating original, exciting and imaginative recipes many of which have been handed down through their family over the years.
