Spot the astounding pride of Born Free Foundation bronze lions prowling around the Chewton Glen estate, created by the world-renowned creative artists Gillie and Marc (Love The Last), each sculpture is celebration of Elsa the lioness, Born Free’s original inspiration and a continual symbol of hope for wildlife. Seek out each member of the pride in their New Forest habitat (a map of the trail will be waiting for you in your room) from Christian, the cub purchased from Harrods and successfully returned to the wild, to Makena, the Kenyan lioness living in the Born Free-protected Meru National Park, now with cubs of her own. Each unique lion on the trail has their own ‘tail’ to tell, with a special affinity to Born Free.
