Guided Forest or Coastal Walk

Suitable for 6+

Enjoy a gentle walk and go on a journey of history within the ancient New Forest woodlands or the stretch of the South coast looking across to the Isle of Wight.

Our guide will tell you all about Forest folklore alongside wildlife commentary as well as anecdotes about the flora and faunca encountered along the way.

The New Forest is an ancient woodland dating back to 1079 and was proclaimed a royal forest by William the Conqueror. It has a remarkable history and an ecosystem to match. It’s a magical place where the locals have “commoners rights” which entitle them to let their livestock roam free throughout the Forest. You’re never far away from New Forest ponies or free-roaming cattle.

There are over 40 miles of 'secret' South Coast here in the New Forest. It is home to some of the most beautiful stretches of coast in England and has some wonderful treasure to be discovered. Listen to stories of the area as you walk along the coast taking in views over the Solent waters and across to the Isle of Wight and the famous 'Needles' and Hurst Castle.
