Autumn and Winter Game - With Luke Matthews
Monday 25th October
Arrive on Sunday and enjoy a relaxing evening at Chewton Glen before joining a small group of fellow enthusiasts in the kitchen on Monday 25th October.
Executive Chef Luke Matthews will hold a morning's demonstration to show you how to select, prepare and serve perfect game to your family and friends. He will discuss butchery techniques, 'game in the feather', and demonstrate a number of dishes using local venison, partridge, grouse and rabbit. Following the demonstration join Luke in the Marryat Restaurant and enjoy a delicious lunch inspired by the recipes discussed during the morning presentation.

Overnight Package - From £244.50 per person

James Martin Cookery Demonstration and Lunch

James Martin has made a great impact since he began to appear on television in November 1996, and has rarely been off the screen since. With record viewing figures exceeding 2.1 million for BBC1's hugely successful 'Saturday Kitchen', James's popularity continues to grow and we are delighted that he has once again agreed to return to Chewton Glen on Monday 22nd November to host a light hearted and entertaining cookery demonstration featuring a wealth of seasonal ingredients to inspire you to following him into the kitchen this autumn.
James is a great friend and supporter of Chewton Glen. He spent three years working at the hotel with Executive Chef Luke Matthews, before his meteoric rise to fame. James and Luke will be working together again on Monday 22nd November to create a delicious three-course lunch for you to enjoy.

An Evening With James Martin

What could be better than watching one of the UK's best know Chef's demonstrate how to prepare the perfect party for you and your guests, and then to have the chance to enjoy eating it!
On Monday evening the 22nd November, James will give a light-hearted cookery demonstration, which will include elements from the evening's menu as well as other seasonal dishes. Following the demonstration he will then return to the Kitchen at Chewton Glen and, working with our Executive Chef Luke Mathews and his team, they will create the perfect dinner for you to enjoy.
James will introduce every course and give you a little insight into what inspires him both in and out of the kitchen.
