Sailing and Motoryachting
If you are interested in Sailing The Solent is the ideal place for all standards. The hotel is only 20 minutes from Lymington and is ideal as a stopover while enjoying the beauty of the South Coast.
We are able to charter sailing yachts and power boats for hire, either skippered with crew or un-skippered depending on standard. Please contact the hotel for more information on the various Sailing trips available.
Sailing Experience
A great opportunity for guests to experience sailing in a relaxed, informal environment onboard a Bavaria 38 foot yacht. Everyone has the chance to actively crew the yacht or alternatively sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning views and landmarks of the Western Solent.
Duration: Minimum 3 hours per experience
Minimum Booking Notice Required: 1 week in advance
Up to 8 guests - £650.00 Inclusive of VAT
The Price includes: Skipper, full waterproofs, safety equipment, home mooring. Additional moorings and all catering is charged at extra cost.
Motoryachting Experience
Squadron 55 - A superb combination of elegance and power, the Squadron 55 will deliver the perfect motoryacht experience. The fly bridge layout easily accommodates up to twelve guests in absolute luxury and comfort. The Squadron 55 is a perfect choice for viewing the historic sights and geographic landmarks of the Solend.

Up to 12 guests - £1,895.00 Inclusive of VAT
The Price includes: Skipper, full waterproofs, safety equipment, home mooring. Additional moorings and all catering is charged at extra cost.
RIB Experience
RIB's, known as rigid inflatable boats, are powerboats with an impressive top speed in excess of 40 knots. Easy handling and an all round performance inherited from a unique design ensures guests will experience the exhilaration these boats have to offer.

Booking and Cancellation:
Enquiries must be made in advance. Reservations can make all the arrangements on your behalf. Departures are from Lymington and the hotel can arrange transportation to and from the marina. Bookings are subject to full cancellation fee. Weather dependent.
Summer Event: Cowes Week Regatta
Every Summer Cowes week takes place on the Isle of Wight and is the one of the largest sailing regatta's in the World. The hotel is the ideal base while visiting Cowes week and enjoying a Sailing trip to remember.
