Chewton Glen Hotel on the edge of the New Forest

Chewton Glen is a Luxury Country House Hotel & Spa located in England on the edge of the historic New Forest National Park and within easy reach of Christchurch, Bournemouth and Southampton.

The hotel is only 90 miles from Central London by car and is situated in one of the richest historical parts of England. Nearby places to visit include the New Forest National Park, with its many attractions, pretty villages and sweeping landscapes.

Guests can also choose to explore on their doorstep the historic towns of Christchurch with its famous Priory and Bournemouth, famous for its white sand beaches. The Hotel is also only a 20 minute walk to the beach from the grounds with spectacular views of the Dorset and Hampshire coastline across to the Isle of Wight.

For most guests the preferred route from London to Chewton Glen is via Emery Down, avoiding Lyndhurst. We strongly advise following this route. Lyndhurst gets very busy during the summer months and at weekends and will cause a delay to your journey:

BY RAIL

London (Waterloo Station) to New Milton takes 1 hour and 50 minutes. We can arrange for a taxi to meet you at the station which is about 10 minutes from the hotel (charge applies). Please call in advance with your train arrival time.

London (Heathrow) is 85 miles, London (Gatwick) is 90 miles.

Southampton Airport is 22 miles and Bournemouth International is about 8 miles from the hotel, both of which now offer a number of direct flights from Scotland, Ireland and mainland Europe.
